Indeed, most people smoking don't want to, because of the health problems. They are afraid of some sort of illness one day. In fact, they usually know that smoking can lead to cancer and severe cardiac diseases. You know smoking kills and you play with your health and your lives. They feel powerless to leave, however. That's what a person's dependence does. To those people I wish to say: just think, if you stop smoking, the harm you have done to your body by inhaling this dirty smoke can begin to reverse. Quitting smoking reduces your risk of lung, heart, or stroke in a couple of years by one-half! Without smoking, you could spend more time with your friends and family and have more time with them. Quitting smoking provides your children, friends and family with a role model, respect and pride. Without smoking, overall health and better quality of life will be improved. In minutes of quitting smoking there are positive health improvements, and for the rest of your life! And, in addition, you can save money from quitting smoking and spend that money on the holidays and luxuries that you can't afford otherwise. You know, I'm sure, how bad you smoke. So it's only sensible to be practical in your approach to stop smoking. You should take the time to change old habits into healthier ones. Arms yourself with knowledge and support and keep repeating the old saying for yourself: if you want to change your life, change your mind.
